NCADD Offers Support for Parents of Children with FASD
The National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence - Rochester Area will host a support group for parents of children with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD) beginning in October.

FASD is the full spectrum of birth defects caused by prenatal alcohol exposure. The first of its kind in the Finger Lakes Region, the FASD support group will provide parents with the needed opportunity to both share resources and network.

The group will meet from 7 to 8 p.m. the first Tuesday of the month beginning October 4, at DePaul's One Mt. Hope Avenue site. For more information, please contact Elaine Alvarado at (585) 423-9490, ext. 685.
